Welcome to my little corner, where the ancient craft of fore-edge painting comes to life.

My name is Anita, and I’m the artist behind The Peculiar Bunch. I live and work in the south of Croatia, often accompanied by my faithful assistant, Oscar, an eleven-year-old rescue who can usually be found “helping” as I paint in my studio.

When I first started, my tools were rudimentary: old clamps from the garage, two pieces of cardboard, and a makeshift stand. I sold the finished piece for €50 in a local Facebook group, and that's where it all began.
